The LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) giant will hire 2,500 young individuals by the end of 2025 as part of the Excellence Trades Project, aimed at training and employing them in the fields of CRAFTSMANSHIP-CREATION-CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
The news of the future hirings in Italy was announced by the LVMH Group through a press release during the Third Edition of SHOW ME ITALY, an event held in Florence at the Manifattura Tabacchi, dedicated to the MESTIERI D’ECCELLENZA DI LVMH project.
Chantal Gaemperle, the Human Resources Director of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, presented the excellent results achieved in Italy by MÃ tiers d’Excellence, also outlining the training program for Craftsmanship Creation and Customer Experience professionals for the upcoming period.
LVMH has repeatedly expressed its commitment to investing in Italian craftsmanship, as it already has Maison brands such as Bulgari, Cova, Acqua di Parma, Fendi, Loro Piana, and Pucci with headquarters in Italy as part of the group’s workforce, already employing 13,000 employees, with 50% already involved in Excellence trades.
Within the next two years, LVMH is expected to create 2,500 jobs in the field of Excellence Trades, aimed at training and employing young individuals in the savoir-faire professions.
Established since 2017, the ME Institute of LVMH offers 26 training programs and already collaborates with various schools, having trained 700 apprentices to date.
Professions sought include cutters, visual merchandisers, pattern makers, leatherworkers, and sales assistants, as well as internships for these professions.
