The Chelsea Flower Show has been organized annually since 1913 by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
Known as one of the most prestigious gardening events in the world, the Chelsea Flower Show sees leading gardening figures gathering in the heart of London each year to showcase their creations, while the public can admire flowers, plants, and design works.
What is the theme of the 2024 Chelsea Flower Show?
Environmentalism remains at the center of this year’s fair, with designers encouraged to showcase sustainability. A special jury is tasked with identifying the best proposals. Among these, the most interesting ones certainly concern the gardens, which are divided into:
- Show Gardens: expansive gardens showcasing the best gardening skills.
- Artisan Gardens: smaller gardens created in a more artisanal manner.
- Fresh Gardens: small gardens, often created by students or researchers, with a high innovative component.
